Find the tree frog!

Reader Mark Sturtevant sent a “spot the. . . ” photo. You can enlarge the photo (and you must) by clicking on it. His notes:

I came across a tree frog that had been chomped on by a couple carpenter ants. The ants were dead, due to the toxic skin, but they were in a death grip on the eyelids of the poor frog. Ouch! I removed the ants and as payment for services rendered I had it pose for this picture. Can your readers spot the tree frog? This species is sometimes green and sometimes grey. So it could be pretty much anywhere here. Happy searching!
JAC: I’m not sure why some drawing has overlaid on this, but so be it. The answer will be posted at 11 a.m. Chicago time.

Left trunk, between top wire and the wire underneath that. Good camo.

Thought so at first but then found it elsewhere.

We founds it, the tricksy thing.

And even knowing where it is, I can’t really pick it out in the unembiggened shot.

Took me a while to find your little friend, but my daughter would covet the flamingo decoration for sure!

Absolutely had to click it – and was shocked at how large and extremely clear the image became (you can read warning label on the light string). Shame on #1 Wayne for revealing before PCC(E)’s official reveal!

I think the dragonfly is a decoration on the tree

Found it, but only because the picture is so nice and sharp! Great camouflage; I believe this species is one I have around my house so I already know how very cryptic they are!
