For those of you in Delhi who want to attend my January 4 talk on “Why Evolution is True (But So Few People Accept It)”, details of location and time have been obscure. Reader Rajesh found them out, and so here they are.
Place: INSA Bhadurshah Zafar Marg
Time: 11:00AM

Do educated Hindus lack belief in evolution at anything close to the rates seen for Christians and Muslims? I would guess not, since they seem to have much more respect for other forms of life. Anyone know about this topic? Jerry?
Good luck with the talk, I hope that it goes well
“Why Evolution is True (But So Few People Accept It)”
This may be true in the US but it is certainly not true in Europe.
I wondered about that too.
Great talk, Dr. C.
Very good lecture Mr. Coyne!
Close to the end, you had to sit down briefly a couple of times; maybe due to exhaustion trying to understand the questions, and debating some people from the audience. In general, it was interesting to listen to their strong convictions, mostly in line with spiritual thinking. I am sure you enjoyed the lunch after it, hopefully with less conflict.
