Monday: Hili dialogue

And so begins another week. Although today’s a holiday in the U.S. (Martin Luther King Day), there is no rest for Professor Ceiling Cat. Nor, apparently, for the Furry Navel of the World, who wants to remain on top of current affairs.

A: And what did you jump up there for?
Hili: To sit on a heap of information.
P1020217In Polish:
Ja: No i po co tam wskoczyłaś?
Hili: Żeby siedzieć na kupie informacji.

The Queen looks very serene today!

I like the admixture of books on the shelves below – The Intellectuals & the Masses, Culture Matters & the Trevor-Roper, Religion, the Reformation & Social Change…!

MooT: “Have you learned anything from the heap of information?”

Hili: “Just that you humans have nothing to teach me.”

Would Miss Hili enjoy this documentary about cats? It’s called The Lion on Your Living Room. I hope it can play in Poland.

If not, here’s a clip from it:

This next one will play only in Canada according to the site, but it does have a nice write-up.

Thanks! Those one week old kittens were just adorable. And, no, the other links were not available in Poland.

Keeping above things, I see. Very good. I cannot figure out how to email Jerry (or to find the list of categories) on this site. So I will mention here that there is a cat museum in Amsterdam. Might be fun for the next visit. Their web site http://www.kattenkabinet.nl/ is unfortuntately only in dutch. Any dutch speakers out there?

[EMAIL REDACTED TO REMOVE PROFESSOR CEILING CAT’S EMAIL ADDRESS]

[NOTE from PCC: DO NOT post my email address on the site, or anybody else’s for that matter. Anybody wishing to email me can simply and easily find it by a bit of Googling. Do you not know enough to avoid making such things public on a site? It is an invitation to spamming–or worse.]
