Some people have too much time on their hands.

Next thing you know, they will use one of those self contained underwater breathing apparatus thingamajigs to put a man on the moon!

    …oh! wait….

Hawkeye could do with losing a few pounds. I thought swimming was supposed to be good exercise.

The other one looked somewhat less impressed.

I’m still very impressed, though, at their getting a cat to swim in the first place.

About cats and water: A cat breed called the {Turkish} Van is supposed to like water and swimming.

    at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkish_Van

If this trait really is due to small genetic difference among breeds, than I would wonder what genome change would cause a trait difference between “water-disliking” and “water-liking”

I love this scuba diving cat. There’s also a horse and a dog that have scuba dived (sp?) … it’s a crazy world out there!
