Dude boots

There are two hides here—one for the main vamp and shaft, and another for the wingtip “foxing”; guess both. Boots by Falconhead of El Paso:

Why “dude”? Because they’re too flashy for doing real work in?
I do get slightly annoyed by my wife’s insistence that I should go out in winter wearing “office shoes” when mountain boots, rubber welly boots, or sandals would be appropriate.

The main leather could be ~ anything. The wingtips could be armadillo belly skin?

I believe the wingtip is a frog skin and the main part of the boot cowhide.

I could reproduce that foxing effect with toasted marshmallows. And I would charge a lot less.

I’ve given up trying to guess the leathers, but those sure are a snazzy pair of footgear.
