Business cat!

Here are some cats to end a long and snowy week! Reader Matt has called my attention to a terrific comic strip, “The Adventures of Business Cat,” by Tom Fonder and Rachael Robins.  He sent one strip, and I found another, but there are a lot more at their site:

    Brilliant!

…but damn you for pointing me to another comic I’ll likely now have to get caught up on from its inception….

You’re forgiven for the previous post.

    Hilarious! :-)

Such a nonchalant, appreciative, not to mention well dressed boss. The delicate hands which contrast with the beefy shoulders provide a subtle creepiness.

Awesome! He really has some excellent non-cat related cartoons too, like this one: http://tomfonder.deviantart.com/art/Happy-Jar-Christmas-Cheer-421766843

OMG those were both good but the last one was just perfect!

The first one is my favorite — one of the funniest cartoons I’ve seen in a long time. I subscribe to the New Yorker and have avidly followed their cartoons for years. Lately, the past couple of years, they’ve sucked IMO. I’ve wondered whether I’m loosing my sense of humor, but that cartoon cheered me up. It’s better than anything I’ve seen in The New Yorker in a long time.

Yeah, that first comic comes at you subtly and then whacks you over the head. The second one is also good but more obvious. Both describe my Crazy Orange Kitty perfectly (which is why I now triple-bell his collar, which cuts down on the outside carnage significantly).

I’m thinking that was a female scarlet tanager, in case anyone was wondering.

Thanks so much. I wasn’t going to get any sleep tonight otherwise.

This drawing by Fonder sums up Professor Ceiling Cat’s view of Tw*tter:

Ha ha! I liked the FML reference. I often think people are such drama queens when I see that written.

The first one is Merlyn, only he wouldn’t wait so long, and he would want the attention it brought.
