Moar fall footwear

Old alligator boots by Justin (probably from the 1970s). Their unique feature is 16 rows of stitching on the shafts: most boots, even good ones, have 6-8 rows:

Lovely boots but I don’t think I can wear them as I’m only 172cm tall and I think they look good only on tall men. I’m sure Professor ceiling Cat is tall!

    Nice.

Is the shaft alligator as well?

I like the use of a different texture on the side. Do you know where on the alligator the different textures come from?

Actually, that’s one of my favorite things about cowboy boots—they add some height!

When these were new, did the pegs stick out, or is this something that happens over time?

    Which part is the shaft?

The part that goes from the ankle up. Or looked at another way, the part your foot has to pass thru to get to the part where it stops.

I’m trying to make out the variety of psychedelic rodent on the calendar in the background…any hints?

I have similar boots made out of cats’ fur. :)
