Eclipse totality at 14:25 Greenwich time: watch live!

Be sure to start watching the live video posted below (i.e. in the post right before this one) SOON: totality will be at about !4:25 Greenwich time in Kenya, or 9:25 a.m. Eastern time in the U.S.  The Moon has already started nibbling at the Sun, so if I were you I’d start watching at about 14:15 Greenwich time (9:15 Eastern).  If you’re not up in the U.S. by then, you’re not only lazy, but missing this very rare event.

The Sun’s up here in the American Southwest, so I’m gonna guess that the excitement is all over and done with….

Yeah, that’s what I get for cleaning my house instead of going online. But, my fishtank is nice & clean & so is the house.

If you still haven’t satisfied your need for a cleaning fix, all my windows have smudges at cat nose height….

My overnight minion got out of his pit at 01:30 (by his body clock) and has been photographing and posting his photos since. His 12-hour shift starts in 19 minutes.
I shall see what photos he got – been busy doing my own since. See if I can get permission to post a link.
