Since you can never have too many felids, here’s a brief video of the lions at the Racine Zoo today.

    There’s more of the outdoor exclosure to both the left and right of what’s in the video. There’s also an indoor exhibition area, and an indoor non-exhibition area. Normally two lions live here. The ones in the video are three of four born last year; they are about to be shipped to other zoos as part of a breeding program. (They are moved around to avoid inbreeding– for most large cats there is a rather strict breeding program that accredited zoos adhere to.) –GCM
